KuCoin Futures API Setup

To connect your Coinrule account to KuCoin Futures, you will need to create an API Key.

1. First, you will need to sign in or create an account with KuCoin. You will also need to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Once signed in and on the homepage, hover over the profile icon on the top right of the page and select “Futures API” from the drop-down menu.

2. Next, select “Create API” then name your API and set an API Passphrase. Make sure to keep a note of this.

Once you’ve named your API, set and remembered the Passphrase, enable the “Trade” permission. Next, set IP Restriction to “No” and Period of Validity to “Permanent”.

3. Next, follow the security verification instructions and once completed you will then be provided with your API Key and API Secret Key.

Finally, you have to copy/paste both your PassPhrase, API Key and API Secret Key in the Exchanges section of your Coinrule account with KuCoin Futures selected.
